This awesome vintage video is in many ways a tribute to Henri Barthel, who will soon celebrate his 80th birthday. In 1968, H. Barthel organized his tour “Rally Park” in Cormeilles-en-Parisis, the 1st International Mini Grand Prix Automobile, as a benefit event for the Perce-Neige association. Raced by combustion engine cars that were designed for children and manufactured by Mortarini (SCAF Automobiles) and H. Barthel, this grand prix was not only thrilling, it was a whole lot of pint-sized fun! This film was shot in Super 16mm.
